Collaborative Mentoring Webinar Series

COLLABORATIVE MENTORING WEBINAR SERIES

The Collaborative Mentoring Webinar Series is a free training series designed for youth mentoring practitioners nationwide. Hosted by MENTOR, and featuring expert speakers from research partners, Affiliates, and national organizations, these webinars highlight the latest research, best practices, and new resources to help mentoring programs strengthen their services and put evidence-based strategies into action.

Webinars are held at:

10:00 – 11:30 AM Pacific
11:00 AM – 12:30 PM Mountain
12:00 – 1:30 PM Central
1:00 – 2:30 PM Eastern

Webinars are free and online. Links to register for the upcoming webinar, with full descriptions and panelist information, are posted in the month leading up to the webinar. Check back periodically as plans for each month are finalized!

FACILITATOR SKILLS TRAINING

Looking to improve your skills as a group training facilitator? Want to lead more effective and engaging group meetings or trainings? Facilitation requires skill and strategy to support others in reflecting on and changing their practice. 

In this three-session professional development series led by experts in facilitation, you will learn how to train mentoring practitioners, mentors, and other adult learners through responsive facilitation. This practical, hands-on training focuses on immediately applicable skills you can use in your next session.

You will build confidence and credibility as a trainer, hone your unique facilitation approach, and learn best practices for navigating group dynamics, alongside a national cohort of mentoring practitioners. You will also receive a digital credential from Credly upon completion of the training.

These sessions were amazing! I am taking away how to properly use facilitator moves, affective openers, and so much more! I am also taking away how to be able to prepare and pivot during trainings in order to better service the participants.
This was awesome! I love all of the different formats of activities (utilization of the chat, breakout rooms, reactions, etc.) Great job!
