On August 25th, MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership, Ernst and Young, and LinkedIn hosted a conversation between some of the leading voices driving the mentoring movement in the Bay Area. With inclusion of inspiring young adults who benefited from having mentors, the Golden State Warriors organization, and City of San Francisco’s My Brother and Sister’s Keeper initiative, the panelists discussed multiple ways the corporate sector can engage in mentoring and how mentoring can be used as a solution to some of our country’s greatest injustices.

For more information, you can read David Shapiro’s reflection on the evening. The entire recorded live-stream is also available should you be interested in viewing the entire program. If you want to learn more about starting a youth mentoring initiative at your company, contact Julie Babyatzky. To take the first step to become a mentor, please click here.
