Introduction to Mentoring Mindset:
A Foundational Approach
Self-Paced e-Module
A mentoring mindset is a way of thinking and interacting that place young people at the center and allows those of us serving as mentors to be true partners in a young person’s journey. There are attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors that serve as the foundation of being an effective mentor and contributing to a “mentoring mindset”.
In this e-module, MENTOR introduces to the four main components to a mentoring mindset:
Be Intentional (“I See You”)
Be Supportive (“I Got You”)
Take a Developmental Approach (“I’m Here to Help You Grow”)
