Advocacy August
It’s Advocacy August! In these times of uncertainty, it’s more important than ever that youth mentoring advocates speak up and engage public officials. Follow throughout the month to learn and be inspired, increase your skills, and act to support youth.
One request we’re making of all advocates: reach out to at least one public official to schedule a meeting (virtual, phone, or in-person) to talk about your connection to mentoring and why we need officials to use their official roles to invest in this evidence-backed support and resource for young people across the country.
Remember to use #MentoringAmplifies and #AdvocacyAugust in your posts throughout the month so we can share your efforts and posts.
