The goal of CFG is to create a mentoring mindset for industry professionals to increase positive outcomes for youth and jobseekers that are not traditionally seen as candidates.
Testimonials
“It was incredibly valuable to attend the Summit to hear from industry professionals from all across the country what is working in their programs, what would help their programs grow or become more successful, and what challenges they have overcome to achieve what they have. Having this chance to network with those working in similar fields with the same goal of uplifting youth, from both ends of the spectrum – from program developers all the way to funders, was enlightening, encouraging, and exciting.”
– Rachel Hargis, Unum
“I appreciate the approach [MENTOR] took to both honor a distinct philanthropic path and space and create appropriate intersection with the direct service providers and [MENTOR]. This is how we get to the business of connecting the investment to the work and outcomes and build synergy among funders and those having an impact on youth. The content was rich, relevant, applicable, and engaging.”
– Amber Roos, Altria Group, Inc.

“The National Mentoring Summit is an invaluable opportunity to meld minds with leading mentoring advocates, philanthropies, and corporations. What an incredible opportunity to continue to build personal and organizational capacity, as well as to bridge the gap between aspiring mentors and unmentored youth.”
